How To Watch Summer Game Fest 2026

Summer Game Fest is perhaps the biggest of all the summer showcases. Airing between Sony’s State of Play and the Xbox Game Showcase, it is completely platform agnostic and so free to spotlight brand new reveals from across the entire spectrum of developers and publishers. Presented by Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest 2026 should be where we see some of the most exciting upcoming games for the very first time.

When Is Summer Game Fest 2026?

Summer Game Fest 2026 will be held on Friday, June 5. The event runs for two hours and kicks off at the following times, depending on your region:

• US (West Coast) - 2pm PDT
• US (Central) - 4pm CDT
• US (East Coast) - 5pm EDT
• UK - 9pm BST
• Europe - 10pm CEST

For our Australian readers, SGF begins early on the morning of June 6 at:

• Australia (Western) - 5am AWST
• Australia (Central) - 6:30 am ACST
• Australia (Eastern) - 7am AEST

What Will Be at Summer Game Fest 2026?

As is tradition, SGF 2026 will be a two-hour show presented by Geoff Keighley, joined this year by Lucy James. The show will feature multiple announcements for new games, segments with special guests, and will be immediately followed by the Day of the Devs stream, which spotlights new indie games.

So far, SGF 2026 has proven pretty water tight, as there have been no significant leaks. However, based on previous years, you can expect some major triple-A game reveals as well as a mix of smaller projects. Last year saw the official reveal of Resident Evil Requiem, Atomic Heart 2, and Mortal Shell 2, as well as release dates for big games like Arc Raiders and the shadow drop of Lies of P’s Overture DLC. And in the years before that, we saw the first look at Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and the release date announcement of Spider-Man 2. This is a show known for its significant announcements, so it’s reasonable to expect good things.
