Overview

If you've been hoping for some new Joy-Con 2 colors for your Switch 2, today is your lucky day. A blue and light yellow Joy-Con 2 color scheme, which Nintendo notes is inspired by Deep Cut from Splatoon, is now available to preorder from select retailers.

As of the time of this writing, you can get an order in for this new Joy-Con 2 controller at Best Buy and from Nintendo for $99.99. In perfect timing with the release of Splatoon Raiders, they're also set to be released on July 23, so you can have them to play with the new game.

This release is similar to other Joy-Con 2 models, with the majority of the controller being black and only the inner pieces and ring around the sticks having the splash of colors. Below, you can get a closer look at what the blue and yellow look like when paired together.

If you're hoping to grab Splatoon Raiders this year as well, alongside these new Joy-Con 2 controller colors, it's worth having a look at our preorder guide. With its release on the horizon, now is the time to make sure you're all set and ready to go with a copy at launch. Some retailers have even dropped the price of preorders by $10, which is a huge bonus if you opt to buy it ahead of time.

Another thing to keep in mind that was announced during June's Nintendo Direct is that a Splatoon Raiders Direct is also set for June 30. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the game if you're excited to play it this year. Make sure to set a reminder so you don't miss out, and keep an eye out for both this Joy-Con 2 and the game releasing on July 23.
